Cancelling Your Tenant Policy You can cancel your tenant policy at any time, but there may be some costs if you do so before the policy's effective date or the end of the term.
We'll use the short rate cancellation table R7, which is included in your policy documents, to calculate refunds or outstanding balances, should a policy be cancelled mid-term. Note, that transaction fees will not be refunded. Refund timelines include 7β10 business days for annual payment policies. For monthly payment policies, taxes and fees are non-refundable, and there may be outstanding balances.
Methods for Cancellation If you'd like to cancel your policy, you can easily use APOLLO's online Customer Portal:
Log in to the Customer Portal
Navigate to 'Policy Details' and select 'Cancel Policy'
Provide the reason for cancellation, confirm the cancellation date, and proceed
The system will automatically display any outstanding balance or refunds calculated as per the short rate cancellation table R7 found in your policy documents.
Costs to Consider
Transaction fees are non-refundable.
Any owed amount will be charged to the card on file.
For annual payment policies, expect refunds for unused time within 7β10 business days.
For monthly payment policies, taxes and fees split into 12 payments are non-refundable, and there may be outstanding balances.Policies Cancelled Due to Non-Payment If your policy has been cancelled due to non-payment, you must pay the outstanding balance associated with the cancelled policy. Previously cancelled policies cannot be reinstated. Once the balance is settled, you can create a new tenant policy to resume your coverage.Additional Considerations
Policies are flexible and transferable if you are moving out; remember to update your address.
