Once you've filed a claim, APOLLO passes it to a claims handling partner who manages the process through to settlement. This article explains what happens next and how to follow up.
Who handles your claim
APOLLO is a brokerage, not an insurer. Claims are handled by your insurer's appointed claims adjuster, not by the APOLLO support team. For most tenant policies, claims are managed through IPG Claims.

How to check your claim status
Your adjuster is your primary point of contact for all claim updates. They'll communicate directly with you by email or phone. To check where your claim stands:
Contact your adjuster directly using the email and phone number they provided when your claim was opened
If you need to reach IPG Claims generally, use the contact details above and reference your claim number
Allow 1–2 business days for a response if you've left a message or sent an email
Lost your adjuster's contact details
If you don't have your adjuster's contact information, contact the APOLLO support team through our Contact Us page with your policy number and we'll look up your claim handler's details for you.
How long does a claim take
Claim timelines vary based on the type and complexity of the loss. Simple claims (e.g. a single stolen item) may be resolved in a few days. More complex claims involving structural damage, liability disputes, or large amounts of contents can take several weeks. Your adjuster should give you a timeline estimate when they first contact you.
Not yet contacted by an adjuster
If you filed a claim and haven't heard from an adjuster within 2–3 business days, contact IPG Claims at the details above or reach out to APOLLO support and we'll follow up on your behalf.
What APOLLO support can and can't help with
APOLLO's support team can help you find your adjuster's contact details and escalate if you're not receiving a response. They cannot make decisions on your claim, adjust your settlement amount, or override the insurer's decisions — those are handled exclusively by the claims adjuster and insurer.
