The timing of your charges for your tenant insurance policy depends on the payment frequency you choose.

If you decide to pay annually, you will be charged the full amount of your policy upfront on the date you purchase it. For instance, if you purchase a policy on January 29th with an effective date of January 30th, you will be charged the full amount on January 29th for the entire year of coverage.

Alternatively, if you choose a monthly payment plan, you will be charged for the first month upon purchase and subsequently charged every month. By default, the monthly charges will occur on the same date as your first payment. However, you can change this at the checkout page.

For example, if you purchase a policy on January 29th with an effective date of January 30th, and make no changes to your payment dates, you will be charged on the 29th of each month for 12 equal payments.

But, if you change your payment date to the 1st of each month, you will still be charged the first payment on the date of purchase (January 29th) and subsequently on the 1st of each month thereafter. So, in this case, your next payment will be charged on February 1st. Don't worry, you're still only being charged 12 equal payments

You have the flexibility to decide whether you prefer to pay upfront or spread your payments out over time and choose the payment frequency that works best for you.
