Your tenant insurance is tied to the address on your policy. If you move without updating it, you may not be covered at your new location. The good news is it takes just a few minutes — and you don't need to cancel and repurchase a new policy.
What Happens When You Update Your Address
Your premium may adjust slightly based on the risk profile of your new location — for example, proximity to a fire station or whether the area has a higher rate of claims. You'll see any changes clearly before confirming the update. Your Certificate of Insurance will also be reissued to reflect your new address.
How to Update Your Address
Log in to APOLLO's self-serve Customer Portal and select "I'm moving" under your policy details. Follow the prompts to enter your new address and confirm any premium changes, even if it's a different province.
